I remember when I was learning the Japanese Language, my sensei, Soeda sensei teaches us a song, called Ue O Muite Arukou (上を向いて歩こう) by Kyu Sakamoto. Well, it's the Sukiyaki Song made popular by 4PM if you ever know the tune, but the lyrics are way different from the Japanese version. My sensei said that some Westerner at that time, heard this song and they like the tune very much, but they don't know the title of the song, so they named it sukiyaki, cause apparently at that moment they were having sukiyaki at a restaurant. Sukiyaki is a Japanese Beef meal. So correct me if I'm wrong on this one.
This is Kina Grannis, doing a cover of this song. Lovely song and perfectly done.

~~ English Translation ~~
I'll walk along looking up
So tears do not roll down
I remember one spring day
Lonely night
I'll walk along looking up
Counting the stars which spread
I remember one summer day
Lonely night
Happiness is over the clouds
Happiness is over the sky
I'll walk along looking up
So tears do not roll down
I walk crying
Lonely night
I remember one autumn day
Lonely night
Sadness is in the shade of the star
Sadness is in the shade of the moon
I'll walk along looking up
So tears do not roll down
I walk crying
Lonely night
Lonely night
